Fukuko Harris was born in Tokyo, Japan. She studied art at the Parsons School of Design and has an MFA from the New York Studio School in New York City. She prefers to work mostly with oil, water color, mixed media and collage. Harris was an artist in residence at La Porte Peinte in 2014.
